I think that there are some people that just sit there and wait for a phone to ring to annoy whoever it is on the other line that wants to talk to them.

There was one church that I called today it rings about 4 times and then it picks up and clicks again, they hung up on me. So going by our policy, I called them back again ( we got disconnected is all ). You know that they're there because this time the answering machine picks it up, I start to leave my message and then right away they pick up and click.. I almost thought about calling them back a 3rd time so that I could just leave my number for them. Then I thought that calling 3rd might push it a little and I didn't want to get screamed at today.

The measures that people go to these days. If they would just talk to us for 5 min then we wouldn't call them back at all. But I don't have a call status on them so I'm going to end up calling them again until i can get a status.

I feel sorry for people that deal with them on a regular basis.

Why is it that wherever you go, you can't seem to get away from imature people. Your whole day can seem to go great until you're around them. Then why they try to do something you realize how stupid that they can be, but the sad thing is they don't realize that and they can hurt a lot of people with their actions. They can be so frustrating to deal with, especially when you find them all over.

It seems like there should be some some confronting here, sigh. I hate confronting, mostly confronting here. It can be very in your face, which is hard for me when i have to confront, because I don't like doing it. Whenever we did at home it was always more subtle and easier to deal with. But then again most of the people that I dealt with at home could be easier to deal with than people here.

This probably doesn't make sense to anyone, but oh well.

We got our Honor Rings the other day.

I still don't know how I completely feel about getting them in the middle of the year. I like the thought of "you've finished the one year committment, here is your ring to remind you to continue in a life long committment and pursuit of excellence.

Everyone's feelings about it are kind of half in half. Some of the people are like me that would reallly prefer to have gotten them at the end of the year and the other half is extremely excited about having them now. They like the thought of how it reminds them of their committment for this year.

Well everybody, as most of you know I am back home for the holidays.

Along with that, some of you might know that i have been spending some of my free time working at my old job again.

What none of you do know is that I stopped some shoplifters plans today. I was quite proud of myself. It was around 3 in the afternoon today when I went to Mary and had her help me fix the scanner since i didn't know what happened to it and I needed to make sure that the sale would be set for tomorrow and have the signs ready to change for whoever closed tonight. I was using my scanner pressing the cool little buttons to find out what prices everything would be tomorrow. I was checking a rack that was full of jeans when i  looked down and saw a red purse. I thought to myself that definitely does not go there. I got down on my knees and continued to investigate to find another purse and a Guess sweater shoved inside the big red 9 west purse. I then went on to check the rest of the racks and make sure they weren't stashing anything else anywhere else. My coworkers alerted the managers who then took care of the issue from there and I finished setting the sale.

Needless to say I had a very good day today at work. I gave excellent customer service to many people (even though we were incredibly swamped), stopped some shoplifters plans, and set a sale for tomorrow. It was a pretty good day.
